Nurfarahin is a Neurofeedback Trainer at Spectrum of Life Integrative Wellness Centre. She receives her degree in Cognitive Science from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). Her research entitled “Development of Higher Order Thinking among preschool children: Creativity” emphasizing creativity aspects among preschoolers. From this research, she found that teacher’s ability in teaching, learning environment (classroom, friends) and learning materials helps improving creativity among preschool children.

 

She receives her master’s degree in Cognitive Science from UNIMAS. She did a research about “Neurofeedback Training for peak performance in mathematics among children”. She found that children can increase their mathematics performance and IQ level after received neurofeedback training. Her research also found out children have better result after having physical exercise.  She had been practicing neurofeedback, quantitative electroencephalography (Qeeg) since 2014. During postgraduate study, she had been practicing neurofeedback in UNIMAS and deals with normal children, slow learner, ADHD, autism, speech delay, Asperger’s, stroke and cerebral palsy. Other than that, she had been appointed as a lab demonstrator in UNIMAS, and assistant trainer for several neurofeedback workshop in Kuching, Sarawak and Jakarta, Indonesia. In addition, she also received neurofeedback certification for research from SBCIA.
