IGG Food Panel Test (Eliminating the Unnecessary)

What is IgG Food Panel Test?

The IgG food panel is a useful test in assessing both immediate and delayed reactions of 96 general consumed Asian type diet foods. This type of testing is useful as it eliminates the broad process of ‘trial and error of eliminating offending foods’ and provides a detailed report for identifying offending foods and a rotation diet based on the test results. IgG (immunoglobulin G) testing is a useful guide for structuring elimination diets, a method of identifying food that you cannot consume without adverse effects, in many chronic conditions.

Immunoglobulins are a class of proteins which function as antibodies produced by the immune system in response to foreign bodies such as food antigens. An IgG reaction can occur hours to days after exposure to the allergen; food or inhalant. This type of reaction is referred to as a delayed sensitivity reaction.

Benefits of IgG Food Intolerance Test?

 Helps determine if food reactions are contributing to physical or mental symptoms

 Removal of highly reactive foods from the diet is a non-invasive, food-based therapy that often mitigates a patient's symptoms

 Research and clinical studies suggest food allergies identified by IgG testing can be a major contributing factor in many chronic health conditions

 Food rotation and elimination diets can reduce stress on the immune system, lower gut inflammation, resolve food cravings, and reduce the potential for eating disorders

Who needs igG Test?

Individuals with neurological disorders (e.g. ADHD, Autism, depression, sleep disorder and etc.), gastrointestinal disorders (irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux and etc.), and movement disorders (rheumatoid arthritis) often suffer from IgG food allergies. These people may continue to eat offending foods unaware of their potential effects.

• Headaches/Migraines

• Fatigue

• Irritable Bowel Syndrome

• Leaky gut

• Abdominal bloating

• Fluid retention

• Depression

• Asthma

• Skin conditions

• Behavioural problems (ADD/ADHD)

How it is being conducted?

The IgG Food Allergy Test collection is available as both Serum and Dried Blood Spot. This method is a convenient alternative for patients and practitioners who cannot perform a blood draw. The specimen can be collected from the convenience of home and shipped directly to our laboratory for analysis. The IgG dried blood spot test is the same price as the serum analysis.

 Serum: 1 mL of in a gold-topped SST or in a royal blue-topped no additive tube.

 Dried Blood Spot (DBS): Five full circles of dried blood on the protein saver card is required

Will I lose weight when I stop eating foods I am sensitive too?

As an added benefit, when the reactive foods are eliminated, many people find they are able to meet their weight goals. This is because your body is now correctly metabolizing a new diet which is exactly suited for your genetic background.
